We are blessed here in USA. Anywhere we live, we always have a house of Allah nearby. But what about our Ummah in Africa? They still pray on the palm tree leaves…

Assalaamu alaykum friends! We are planning our first largest project. CharityP2P is targeting to build a Masjid in Uganda, Africa.

I remember death frequently. And I think: “What if it knocked to my life tomorrow, what will I leave behind?”

Masjid Ar-Rahman will be constructed in Kampala, Uganda, Africa. We reserved a land 1 mile away from orphanage Ibn Masoud where 80 orphan children reside currently. New orphanage will be constructed on the Masjid territory as the owner of the land where Ibn Masoud is now passed away. His family members decided to sell that land along with the orphanage. Most likely the orphanage will be demolished by a new owner and children will loose their home. Our Masjid will become a place of worship and a maqtab for the kids. In Shaa Allah! Let’s stand together for the deen!

Our Masjid will have 2 prayer areas: one for brothers and another one for sisters and children. There will be 3 sheds and a mihrab. Next to the masjid will be built ancient style minaret from where the muezzin will be calling our Muslim brothers and sisters for salah daily.

What deed is more noble in the duniya than building a house of Allah?

Similar masjid was already constructed in Uganda 2021 by our volunteer group Amikab Community Center. They have been serving Kampala and local districts for nearly past 10 years. CharityP2P is working with Amikab Community Center since 2018.
